     Jean Rowell McCardell was born on 1 October 1905 in Falls Church, Fairfax County, Virginia. She was the daughter of Wilfred Samuel McCardell and Annabelle Rowell Nance. She married J.L.B. Williams circa 1930.2 She died in January 1977 in Boyce, Clark County, Virginia.3

     James Pease was born in 1679 in Salem, Essex County, the Massachusetts Bay Colony, which at that time was part of the of the New England Confederation. He was the son of Captain John Pease and Margaret Adams. He married Mary Abbe in 1710.2

James was one of the first settlers of Somers, CT; he was said to have spent his summers there and his winters in Enfield.
