     Emma Marie Gauerke was born on 23 August 1880 in Morrison, Brown County, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Wilhelm Frederich Gauerke and Helena Henrietta Schneider. She married Charles Herman Miller on 11 May 1904 in Morrison, Brown County, Wisconsin. She died on 24 April 1961 in Sheboygan, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin. She was buried in Wildwood Cemetery in Sheboygan, Sheboygan county, Wisconsin.

     Charles Herman Miller was born on 7 July 1878 in Wisconsin.2 He married Emma Marie Gauerke, daughter of Wilhelm Frederich Gauerke and Helena Henrietta Schneider, on 11 May 1904 in Morrison, Brown County, Wisconsin. He died on 25 April 1966.3

Thomas Leander Graves1

M, b. 10 December 1831, d. 22 February 1909

     Thomas Leander Graves was born on 10 December 1831 in Virginia.2 He married Xantha May Logan on 22 February 1859. He died on 22 February 1909 in Kendallville, Noble County, Indiana.

He established a newspaper in Warsaw, Indiana in 1848. He was postmaster at Warsaw, and US Marshall in Columbia City. He moved to Kendallville in 1862, was Justice of the Peace for 12 years, served six years as Mayor, and then served as City Attorney and Treasurer.

     James Snyder Graves was born on 3 August 1860 in Columbia City, Whitley County, Indiana.2 He was the son of Thomas Leander Graves and Xantha May Logan. He died on 10 May 1936.

James was a law school graduate and printer by trade. He was editor and publisher of the Kendallville Times, and followed his father's footsteps by being elected as City Treasurer and serving as mayor for nine years.
