He married Evalina 'Lena' Barr, daughter of Luke Barr and Mary Williams, on 28 November 1885 in Orland, Steuben County, Indiana. He died on 17 August 1918. His remains were interred Flint Cemetery Section B, Lot 17, in the , Flint, Steuben County, Indiana.

     Evalina 'Lena' Barr was born on 24 August 1866 in Indiana.3 She was the daughter of Luke Barr and Mary Williams. She married Edd A. Golden, son of George W. Golden and Adelpha A. Cleaveland, on 28 November 1885 in Orland, Steuben County, Indiana. Her husband Edd died on 17 August 1918. She died on 15 May 1942. She was buried circa 18 May 1942 in Flint, Steuben county, Indiana.

     Glen Golden was born on 26 March 1892. He was the son of Edd A. Golden and Evalina 'Lena' Barr. He married Neva Van Wagner, daughter of Sylvester Van Wagner and Nellie Shank, circa 1925. He died on 1 December 1973.3 He was buried in Flint cemetery in Flint, Steuben county, Indiana.3

He always kept a large number of farm animals - horses, cattle, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, geese and turkeys. His Scottish hired man said that he "worked like a slave, lived like a king." When a young man he traveled with a professional band as a clarinetist.

     He was buried in Elkhart, Elkhart county, Indiana. He married Esther Swank. Ralph Golden was born on 4 September 1889 in Flint, Steuben County, Indiana. He was the son of Edd A. Golden and Evalina 'Lena' Barr. He died in 1973 in Elkhart, Elkhart County, Indiana.

Ralph was a veteran of World War I. In the 20's and 30's he was the head of a threshing team that worked the area of Jackson Township in Steuben County, IN. He owned and maintained the equipment. He also worked installing electrical wiring on farms for the Rural Electrification program in that area.
