     Benjamin Franklin Detterline was born on 17 March 1874 in Terre Hill, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Henry Detterline and Elizabeth Diller. He married Katie Horning after 1899. He died on 15 August 1949. He was buried in Mohler's Cemetery in Ephrata, Lancaster county, Pennsylvania. Benjamin was a foundryman.
