He married Elsie Emma Hendricks, daughter of Peter Hendricks and Charlotte (unknown surname), on 1 May 1909 in Quakertown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. His wife Elsie died circa 1910. He married Estella (unknown surname) circa 1913. He died in 1942.

     Harry Ahrens was born on 23 December 1917 in New York, New York. He was the son of Harry Ahrens and Florence Previdi. He married Mary Ruth Benner, daughter of Harry Benner and Mary Ann Bleam, on 3 December 1949 in Quakertown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He died on 8 July 1967 in the Lankenau Hospital, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. He was buried in Union Cemetery in Quakertown, Bucks county, Pennsylvania.

Harry graduated from Purdue University with a degree in engineering. It is an interesting coincidence that he died in Lankenau Hospital, which his architect father designed. His grave marker has the inscription: "T/3 405th ORD. MM CO. US Army World War II".

Thomas Matthew Ahrens
     Thomas Matthew Ahrens was born on 15 August 1954 in Sellersville, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He is the son of Harry Ahrens and Mary Ruth Benner. He was christened in 1967 in Quakertown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Thomas Matthew Ahrens graduated in 1977 from Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York, with a B.A. in Psychology degree. He married Nancy Ann Rynd, daughter of Christopher Rynd and Ruth Lockhart, on 29 June 1991 in Quakertown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

Tom specialized for some time in the restoration of Victorian homes, but more recently works with his wife in the operation of a training school for individuals requiring vocational rehabilitation. The school, named La Escuela Nueva, is located at 1254 Market Street, San Francisco, CA.
