     Lee William Evans was born in 1888 in Kansas City, Wyandotte County County, Kansas. He was the son of Herod William Evans and Ruth Keiffer.
     In 1905 Lee was shown boarding with Herod William Evans at 315 Union on the city directory of in Snohomish, Snohomish County, Washington. He was a clerk at his uncle's hotel, The Penobscot.2 He married Bernice DeVell on 1 September 1915 in Snohomish County, Washington.3 He died in 1952.

     Francis Scotney was born in 1817 in England.2 Conflicting evidence states that Francis was born between 1808 and 1815 in England.3,4 He married Elizabeth (unknown surname). He died on 15 June 1862.5 Francis was a farmer. He enlisted as a Private in Company F, 11th Maine Infantry Regiment on 07 November 1861 at age 44.6,7
