     Felix Walp was born on 19 December 1801 in Richland township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of David Walp and Susannah Ohlwein.2 He married Sarah Deily circa 1822.1,3 He died on 2 March 1888.1 Mr. Walp served during his life-time many positions of honor and of trust. In addition to other positions, he served for one term as commissioner of Bucks County. In the congregation of which he was a member during his whole life he was repeatedly honored with offices in the church council, serving as elder, deacon and trustee. At one time he was a member of the church council for seventeen successive years. Even during the last years of his life he woked for the success of his congregation and rejoiced in its prosperity. In the death of Felix Walp one of the old landmarks of Richlandtown has been removed.
