Zechariah Goodell was born on 31 May 1640 in Salem, Essex County, the Massachusetts Bay Colony.^1,2 He was the son of Robert Goodell and Catharine Kilham. He died on 30 June 1715 in Salem, Essex County, the Massachusetts Bay Colony, which at that time was part of the of the Province of Massachusetts Bay.

     Margaret Lazenby was born probably about 1627. She married Robert Goodell, son of Robert Goodale and Joane Artys, between 1647 and 1647 in Salem, Essex County, the Massachusetts Bay Colony, which at that time was part of the of the New England Confederation.

     Elizabeth Goodell was born in 1649 in Salem, Essex County, the Massachusetts Bay Colony, which at that time was part of the of the New England Confederation. She was the daughter of Robert Goodell and Margaret Lazenby.

     Ann C. (unknown surname) was born before 1837.

     Cora Birdella Kirkland was born on 31 October 1861. She was the daughter of John J. Kirkland and Ann C. (unknown surname). She died on 10 August 1863. ¹.

     She died sometime after July 4, 1906 in Brant, Saginaw County, Michigan.¹ Delia A. Littlefield was born on 12 September 1840 in Pretty Prairie, LaGrange County, Indiana.

     John Bates was baptized on 23 January 1641/42 in at age 14 days, Boston, the Massachusetts Bay Colony.⁴ He was the son of Edward Bates and Lydia Fairbanks.³ He married Mary Farwell, daughter of Henry Farwell and Olive Welby, on 22 December 1665 in Chelmsford, Middlesex County, the Massachusetts Bay Colony, which at that time was part of the of the New England Confederation. His wife Mary died on 7 March 1713. He died on 11 April 1724 in along with most of his family, of smallpox, Chelmsford, Middlesex County, the Massachusetts Bay Colony, which at that time was part of the of the Province of Massachusetts Bay.⁴ During the early part of his life he was associated with the family of William Fletcher and moved with them to Chelmsford in about 1668. In his will Mr. Fletcher referred to John as his son-in-law. He took part in "King Phillip's War" ca. 1691. In his will, John Bates called himself a cooper.⁴

     Mary Farwell was born circa 1642 in Concord, Middlesex County, the Massachusetts Bay Colony. She was the daughter of Henry Farwell and Olive Welby. She married John Bates, son of Edward Bates and Lydia Fairbanks, on 22 December 1665 in Chelmsford, Middlesex County, the Massachusetts Bay Colony, which at that time was part of the of the New England Confederation. She died on 7 March 1713 in Chelmsford, Middlesex County, the Massachusetts Bay Colony, which at that time was part of the of the Province of Massachusetts Bay.

     He married Lydia Fairbanks about 1635 to 1642. Edward was probably born circa 1620 in Boston, Lincolnshire, England. He died circa 1644 in Boston, the Massachusetts Bay Colony.

Edward came to America aboard the ship Griffin as a manservant to Thomas Leverett September 4, 1633 and settled in Boston, Mass. He was made a freeman on March 9, 1637. He was allotted 14 acres of "upland and marsh" at Pulling Point Necke (not found in present-day records in 1637). Later in 1637 he became allied with Ann Hutchinson who had a difference of opinion with the Puritan way of thinking, and the two, among many others, were directed to be relieved of all guns, swords, and so forth by the 30th of November. This restriction was later relaxed. He was excommunicated on November 20, 1642 but upon repentance he was readmitted to the church in April of 1644. He must have died shortly after that time because his wife Lydia was identified as a widow when she married William Fletcher of Concord on October 8, 1645.³

     She married Edward Bates about 1635 to 1642. Lydia Fairbanks was born probably June 13, 1622 in Boston, Lincolnshire, England.

     Jared Spencer was born circa 1650 in Hartford, the Connecticut Colony, which at that time was part of the of the New England Confederation.² He was the son of Sgt. Thomas Spencer and Sarah Bearding. Jared Spencer was christened on 5 July 1674 in Middletown, the Connecticut, which at that time was part of the of the New England Confederation.² He married Hannah Pratt, daughter of John Pratt, on 22 December 1680 in Hartford, the Connecticut Colony, which at that time was part of the of the New England Confederation.² He died circa 1712 in Hartford, the Connecticut Colony.²

     Hannah Pratt was born on 25 November 1658 in Hartford, the Connecticut Colony, which at that time was part of the of the New England Confederation.² She was the daughter of John Pratt. She married Jared Spencer, son of Sgt. Thomas Spencer and Sarah Bearding, on 22 December 1680 in Hartford, the Connecticut Colony, which at that time was part of the of the New England Confederation.² She died on 22 October 1692 in Hartford, the Connecticut Colony.

     John Pratt was born circa 1635.

     Sarah Bearding was born circa 1623 in England. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Bearding. She married Sgt. Thomas Spencer, son of Gerard Spencer and Alice Whitbread, on 11 September 1645 in Hartford, the Connecticut Colony, which at that time was part of the of the New England Confederation.² She died before 1674 in Hartford, the Connecticut Colony, which at that time was part of the of the New England Confederation.

     Nathaniel Bearding was born in 1597 in England. He married Abigail Graves before 1623. He died on 11 September 1674 in Hartford, the Connecticut Colony, which at that time was part of the of the New England Confederation.

     Sgt. Thomas Spencer was born before 29 March 1607 in Stotford, Bedfordshire, England. He was the son of Gerard Spencer and Alice Whitbread. He married Ann Derifield circa 1632 in Stotford, Bedfordshire, England. He married Sarah Bearding, daughter of Nathaniel Bearding, on 11 September 1645 in Hartford, the Connecticut Colony, which at that time was part of the of the New England Confederation.² He died on 11 September 1687 in Hartford, the Connecticut Colony.

     Gerard Spencer was born before 26 May 1576 in Stotford, Bedfordshire, England. He was the son of Michael Spencer and Elizabeth (unknown surname). He married Alice Whitbread, daughter of John Lawrence Whitbread and Eleanore Radcliffe, on 10 November 1600 in Upper Gravenhurst, Bedfordshire, England. He married Joan Hills on 4 August 1628 in Stotford, Bedfordshire, England. He died before May 1646 in England.

     Alice Whitbread was born circa 1578 in Stotford, Bedfordshire, England. She was the daughter of John Lawrence Whitbread and Eleanore Radcliffe. She married Gerard Spencer, son of Michael Spencer and Elizabeth (unknown surname), on 10 November 1600 in Upper Gravenhurst, Bedfordshire, England. She died on 20 November 1628 in Stotford, Bedfordshire, England.

     John Lawrence Whitbread was born circa 1548 in Upper Gravenhurst, Bedfordshire, England. He was the son of Thomas Whitbread. He married Eleanore Radcliffe in 1581 in Bedfordshire, England. He died before 28 November 1598 in Upper Gravenhurst, Bedfordshire, England. He was buried in Upper Gravenhurst, Bedfordshire county, , England.
