Becker on 10 May 1917 in the Evangelical Church, Dorchester, Clark County, Wisconsin.² He died on 17 September 1976 in the Medford Memorial Hospital, Medford, Taylor County, Wisconsin.¹ He was buried on 20 September 1976 in Athens Villiage Cemetery in Athens, Marathon county, Wisconsin.²

Erwin farmed for 2 years in Clark County near Dorchester, Wisconsin. He then bought the family farm, where he and his wife farmed for 31 years.²
