William H. Ault was born say 1853; That William H. is the son of William B. Ault is stated in the Manheim Sentinel and Advertiser obituary of the latter. The order of listing of the children suggests his mother was Caroline and his birth date about 1853.¹ He was the son of William B. Ault and Caroline Imhoff.¹
