Simeon Beal Parcher was born circa 1789; His birth is stated to have been in either Maine or Vermont in the referenced source 1. In 1789 that would be either the Province of Nova Scotia or the colony of Vermont.3 He was the son of Daniel Parcher and Patience Harford. He married Roxannah Briggs, daughter of Isaac Briggs and Sarah (unknown surname), in 1815.4 He died on 28 January 1834 in Crawford County, Ohio.5 He was buried in Stewart Cemetery in Bucyrus, Crawford county, Ohio, 6.3 1820 New York Census, Chenago Co., Oxford Twp. pg. 242, Simeon PARKER.

Daniel Parcher was born circa May 1756 in the Maine or New Hampshire colony. He was the son of George Parcher and Patience Carle. He was baptized on 9 May 1756 in the Second Congregational Church in Scarborough, York County, the Massachusetts Bay Colony, which at that time was part of the of the Province of Massachusetts Bay.2 Intentions of marriage to Patience Harford , daughter of Benjamin Harford and Temperance Bryant, were published in December 1780 in the Second Congregational Church, Saco, York County, Province of Nova Scotia.2 He died between 21 March 1808 and 1 May 1808 in Waterbury, Washington County, Vermont.2 He served in the Revolutionary War3.

Patience Harford was born in 1763 in Scarborough, Cumberland County, the Massachusetts Bay Colony, which at that time was part of the of the Province of Massachusetts Bay.1 She was the daughter of Benjamin Harford and Temperance Bryant. Intentions of marriage to Daniel Parcher , son of George Parcher and Patience Carle, were published in December 1780 in the Second Congregational Church, Saco, York County, Province of Nova Scotia.2 Her husband Daniel died between 21 March 1808 and 1 May 1808.2 She died on 18 July 1830 in Crawford County, Ohio.

Samuel Carle was born circa 1690 in Portsmouth, the New Hampshire.2 He was the son of Timothy Carle and Elizabeth Hall. He married Patience Evans, daughter of Robert Evans and Ann Thompson, circa 1708 in Dover, Strafford County, New Hampshire.2
He lived in Dover NH, as a carpenter. He was in court in 1707 for fencing in commons. He bought Samuel Beard's Scarborough lands and remained there, self, wife and children, married and single. He was baptized there in 1742. In all he had 8 children recorded, besides 4 more baptized, including Timothy. He died after 1763 in Saco, York County, Province of Nova Scotia.

Elias Parcher was born circa 1675. He married Grace Allard, daughter of James Allard and Honor Wallis, on 12 August 1708 in Greenland, the New Hampshire.2
"First of this surname into this country. It is believed that, since he first appears in the villages which were founded by men from English fishing fleets, that he or his parents probably originated in the southwest English coastal counties of Cornwall or Devon. He died after 1725 and most probably in the Greenland, N.H., area but no records have been found." 3 Info from "History of Leeds, Maine" where descendants of Elias had furnished family information. The first offical record of Elias appears on a record showing him as a soldier of Capt. Garrishe's in 1695. After that date there are numerous records showing him or his family.

Hugh Allard was born circa 1639. He married Grace (unknown surname) in Isles Of Shoals, New England.
Grace was the widow of William Tucker. She was about 12 years his senior, with many children, and became the midwife at the Shoals. In 1671 he mortgaged his house and fish plant on Smuttimose to Mr. Wainwright to secure delivery of fish, and in 1686 still owned them. Apparently they only had one child.
