From: MIKELEDO@aol.com Date: Mon, 22 Jul 2002 19:08:08 EDT Subject: www.rgcle.com (p97.htm) To: Dick@rgcle.com I like the pictures at your site. They turned out very nice-especially Jacob M. Ault. He was married in Lancaster Co. May 16, 1897 by Rev. F.S. Borkey Jacob on the application on May 11th is listed as a telegraph operator. His birth place is listed as Penn Township, Bessie as East Petersburg. License number 13159 Some corrections: Yes, the death certificate of Susan Ford claims her mother is named Susan. It is incorrect. Her name is Mary or Polly. That is how it is listed in her obit., census records, and tombstone record. The Francis Royer book is incorrect on the Royer line. The wife of Philip Royer is not Elizabeth Hernley. This was the wife of Philip jr. From the will of Henry Schneider (Snyder) we know his daughter Elizabeth was married to Philip Royer. I am still on the Harlacher/Hallacher line. Annie is the daughter of Charles jr. which I have from will information. Charles sr. would be the original immigrant coming over in 1727 on the Adventure Galley. There is a Heinrich listed with him, I assumed it is his brother, but I could be wrong. There is some connection to the Henry Deardoff who enfiefed some of his land in Lancaster Co. to Charles for the love and devotion he had for Charles' wife. When Henry died, Charles cared for some or at least one of his children. Charles' wife could be a sister of one of Henry's wives-Elizabeth Moore or Elizabeth Fahenstock. [Portion deleted] Mike |
