Funeral service for R. O. Helsom who died in Kalispell, Mont. were held in Menomonie Monday afternoon at two o'cock from the Olson Funeral Home, Rev. John M. Worth, pastor of Frieden's Lutheran church, officiating. Interment was made in Evergreen Cemetery.
     Mr. Helsom was born in Norway Jan. 27, 1863. he came to America in 1863, locating at Colfax. In 1873 he came to Menomonie and was in the photographer's business for 30 years. He was married to Amelia Beil in 1885. Two children were born to them.
     In 1920 they moved to Kalispell, Mont. Mr. Helsom is survived by his wife, one son, Edwin, St. Paul, one brother of Longbranch, Wash., six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Ed. Behling, died several years ago.
