I recently obtained the death record For William B. It claims he was born in New Holland and worked as a laborer. His parents were not listed. I struck out with Susan Ford and Annie Stormfeltz. From the 1850 census data I am almost certain I have found William B.'s parents. In the 1850 Anneville, Lebanon Co. census a William is listed as 23 years old, meaning he was born
early 1827 or late 1826. This I am almost certain is our guy. His father is also William Ault age 52, married to Elizabeth age 48. He is a tanner. Other people in the household are Rebecca Ault age 20, John Ault age 14, Mary Ault age 10, Michael Ault age 7, and someone named William Sessley age 19 is living with them. I do not know if or how I can attach William Sessley.

Also I found by chance Caroline Imhoff. I believe she is the Caroline Inghof listed for Lancaster age 22 in the census. She is living in the household of Tobias Herr age 37 and Susan (Landis) age 36. There are no Inghofs or Imhoffs connected to the Herr line from what I can tell. Susan Landis is a mystery. I believe the William born abt 1798 is the same William Benjamin Ault who served in the War of 1812 (as a teenager).I can not find a place for William (1798), although from the placement in time and space he may be an ancestor of Valentine Alt, perhaps through his son Jacob. Have you come across anything new? Later Mike Ledo
