I am quite certain that your original George Adams would be the brother or uncle of James Adams (#14) on the appended list. There can't be that many Adams families in Ludlow, VT in 1801. Having said this I can't help you much beyond what you see here. My mother-in-law and my wife's aunt collected this stuff and used this family for
membership into the Colonial Dames. I haven't done anything to look into it further except to add some of the pre-Henry Adams stuff, which someone sent me. I am in
AUstralia until July and my primary records are back home so I can't look anything up until I return. I will have to check that web reference. The address you cited was
